Lot 99. 1922 Haffner's Big-Tayto-Loaf Bread Harry Heilman Hall of Famer- Very Rare! Offered in this lot is an extremely rare type bread card of Hall of Famer Harry Heilman. This is the only Big-Tayto-Loaf Bread card I ever owned and quite unique with a HOF player on the front. Many baseball historians considered Harry Heilman to be the second best right handed hitter of the 1920's (behind Hornsby). The card has been graded Vg by PSA. A truely rare type card that is extremely difficult to find especially with a star player on the front.

Lot 109. 1923 Lections Frank Chance -Rare Issue Est. Value in ExMt $4,000.00 These cards are so rare that they were not known in the hobby until 11 years ago when only two dozen of the Lections surfaced in Upsate NY. I have had the privilege of owning a 1/2 a set of these in my career (as you can see on my website sale page) with only the Chance card remaining in my posession, until now. The majority of the Lections cards that are known to have surfaced all have been seen with creases and grade, around Fair to Good condition. The Frank Chance card offered here grades Poor/Fair and is the #1 card in the set. It's Est. Value in ExMt condition (if found) is $4,000.00. When you are talking about rare Pre-World War II baseball cards, this is one of them.

The advertisement states "Jack Lapp, one of the brilliant young catchers of the World Champion Athletics." The advertisement was issued by the American Tobacco Co. and measures around 9" x 10".
