 Lot 234. 1909 (E92) Crofts Candy (Blue) Johnny Evers -Very Scarce Card! Shown here is a very scarce candy card of Hall of Famer Johnny Evers from the (E92) Crofts Candy series. The card carries a clear crisp image of Evers with a clean back printed in scarce BLUE lettering (much tougher than the normal black lettering you see more often on this issue) and graded SGC Auth. This same card sold previously in another auction a year ago for over $500.00+ with the juice! Johnny Evers was arguably the best 2nd baseman to ever play the game. He was known as Mr. Pivot (famous double play combo-Tinker to Evers to Chance). A Crofts Candy card of Evers (Blue lettering back) is seldom seen in the hobby today. Surely, not many around! (fyi-you see a little smudge on the top border of card not a pin hole)

 Lot 235. 1916 Tango Eggs Bob Brescher Gorgeous Scarce Card (PSA 5) Offered is a gorgeous card from the elusive Tango Eggs series of player Bob Brescher. The card shown is graded a PSA 5 Ex and actually looks ExMt. Clean back on this very tough to obtain card issue. A must addition to any type card collection. The Tango Eggs are amongst the scarcest Pre-War baseball cards in the hobby! They were unknown until 1993 (thats 77 years absent or uncatalogued from the hobby), that is how scarce these cards are.
